More wedding less words Wednesday!
We had the most magical winter wedding
This is their serious pose, I figured as much and that is why I hired a photographer specializing in photojournalism (moving shots) since poses just don't work for this crew!
My daughter getting ready she was so excited and that dress was gorgeous although at the end of the night she did end up pairing it with blue mermaid socks ::sigh::
My handsome son getting help from Nana!
Yeah I have the guts to post it mainly because I miss my butt! I had my something blue on and those were personalized underwear with my husbands name!
The wedding colors were white and black. All flowers were white but I had 6 different types of white flowers, each bridesmaid carried a different type. I don't like heavy flower as boutonnieres so I chose baby's breath for them and I loved it!
The lodge we had the wedding at for the weekend was stunning, absolutely jaw dropping gorgeous. The entire wedding party stayed right in the lodge.
What a perfect day!
Having a traditional cake didn't suite us since our favorite thing in the world is cheesecake. We decided on 8 different custom made cheesecakes for our desert and I don't thing there was one mouth that wasn't salivating. We also decided on having a soup bar, breads and cheeses instead of a typical buffet layout. We had soup shipped in from Maine, made from a chef in North Carolina, my aunt a head chef at Ohio state. We had a total of 11 and every single one was mouthgasm worthy!
Where I met my love to start our life journey!
Our amazing friends.
We spent a lot of time here after the reception just relaxing and soaking in the day!
The main room. There were definitely a few couples snuck away at the end of the night sitting in front of the fireplace. This was the entry room and held one of the 5 stone fireplaces.
There was dancing, there was laughter and there was... LOVE!

Why Do I love Sex and the City?
“When you're young, your whole life is about the pursuit of fun. Then, you grow up and learn to be cautious. You could break a bone or a heart. You look before you leap and sometimes you don't leap at all because there's not always someone there to catch you. And in life, there's no safety net. When did it stop being fun and start being scary?” Carrie Bradshaw
So the second Sex and the City is returning soon and I am unexplainable excited about it! Every time a commercial preview comes on I squeak and my husband rolls his eyes. Last time I went to go see the first one alone, in my scrubs fresh from work, ate a large popcorn alone ( I will post another time on the amazing free felling of going alone to the movies I really like it), drank a large Sierra Mist and a whole pack of Sour Patch Kids (which I still think I haven't regenerated those taste buds back from). I sat behind a group of six 50-60 year old ladies and laughed at the movie as well as their reaction to the peek penis shot (audible gasp, I tell ya). Sex and the City started in 1998 and I know my mother would have had a hairy fit if I ever watched the show, in fact I never even knew the show existed till 2002 because their was no way I could afford premium channels. Anyways on to why I love it. Sex and the City opened my eyes up to fashion more than my monthly Glamour. I found Manolos, Dior, Cosmopolitans, Dolce and that it is SEXY to have crazy curly hair (something I battled with my whole life). These women were sexually promiscuous and body/social confident things that I never really had. one of those things I'm glad I lived vicariously through them. I was sad when the season ended because I found that I just discovered them and needed them in my adulthood but alas. People always ask are you a Carrie? a Samantha?, A Charlotte?. Honestly I don't know I'm sweet like Charlotte sometimes but I cuss too much and then I think I'm snide like Samantha but not as...uh sexual. I'm Carrie or at least I was on my wedding when I too wore a bird on my head and when going out on the town but much to broke to where designer and I'm Miranda in the way that I always know what I want and hate toe settle. I love these ladies and I could go on and on why I do. I am looking forward to the next movie (hopefully its not a sequel curse).
If your awesome enough to love Sex and the City tell me what City girl you are.

McFatty Monday for the Month
This is not gonna be long and its not gonna be pretty! My last couple of weeks have been full of eating whatever I felt like which did consist of a lot of fruit and also a lot of chocolate. I have lost ZERO pounds. As far as an exercise regimen it has all been reserved solely for yard work which there is a ton of. I break a sweat daily so I count it. Mexico is in a month and I am no where near being the hot wife I want to be but he say I'm still sexy and right now that's all I need to hear!
Also I asked my readers to vote on my next couple blog post and I think I will do them all but in order of interest. I have been keeping a food log and taking pictures for my next blog so check back its going to be yummy!

Thankful Thursday!
Mommies night out with friends and Chardonnay
Spring nail colors for the toes!
Doing nothing on a sunny afternoon but playing with chalk with the kids
My sassy red head.
Naked baby bottoms. Might seem strange but try to see a naked baby butt and not smile.
Drawings found on my pillow.
My awesome deck and having everyone out enjoying the weather, cooking out, knitting, reading and loving life and Spring in Michigan.
::side note:: our new shelter doggie Molly, who's name has been changed 3x by the kids!

I like to move it move it
We have a crawler and he loves it. My days are full of having a babe hanging on my leg and following me no matter where I go. This means I never go to the bathroom with less than 2 kids and a dog at my feet anymore! UGH!

Wanna know what crazy looks like!
So my darling boy as cute and amazing as he may be has not slept more than a 3 hour stretch at a time at night and it is driving my batty. I think I'm functioning alright, the house is pretty clean (most days), I keep up on my laundry, the kids are fed, the kids make all their extra-curricular activities and me and the hubby and I still have "maritals". The only reason I include the last is because for all of you mommas reading this you understand that having the "maritals" is a huge accomplishment in the first year after baby. Anyways Adrian sleeps upstairs,so when the I hear him in the monitor I do the zombie walk up 2 flights of stairs, pick him up go downstairs, nurse him back to sleep, sometimes he will go back in the crib but sometimes he stays in our bed. This has been the routine for the last couple months. Thursday was a particular lucid night for me and when I heard him start crying I was already awake. I go upstairs and find Adrian sound asleep.
I turned around and think well he must have put him self back to sleep. As soon as I lay down I hear his cry/whine again "eeeooowwww" I hold the monitor up to my ear and I don't hear anything but I still hear the cry. I turn to husband and say "holy crap I think we have a ghost". He gets out of bed searching for the sound, opens our walkout door to the porch from the bedroom and the sound is MUCH clearer now. HOLY CRAP its a cat in heat, so we clap it away and its quite. The same night Adrian miraculously sleeps till 5 in the morning (that never happens). The next Adrian slept all night. I cannot believe it I have been waking up my soundly sleeping child because in my sleep deprived state I cannot tell the difference between a cat in heat and my child crying. So I'm not sure how many nights I have been waking a sleeping child only to disrupt his sleep all night. I laugh now but I kinda wanna kill that cat.
